Modular synchronous polyurethane timing belts for stocked customized industrial production solutions

optibelt ATC-SYSTEM is a patented system of modular polyurethane timing belts that offers incredible customization and cost savings. Customers can now order standard stocked straps and cleats that can be installed and customized on site, offering faster delivery and greater versatility.

The ATC System uses the ATC belt as a customizable platform. Each ATC belt has preformed snap and drill positions on its teeth. Insertion positions can be “stapled” where an ATC wedge/link needs to be attached. The clamp is screwed to the top of the belt, to the insert embedded in the tooth.

The ATC cleating system is strong enough to handle mounting fixture attachments or to be used to move products from one location to another. Hundreds of cleating options are available to meet a variety of production needs. Facilities may even have stock ATC belts and cleats to replace worn belts or replace individual cleats on demand.

ATC belts come in a wide variety of widths and use standard AT10 or AT20 pulleys. ATC belts can be ordered linear or added endless. Contact an Optibelt representative for more details.

The ATC-SYSTEM user can quickly and easily fix screw locks to a freely selectable thread in place. The link can be connected and disconnected directly by the user. As a result, different forms of transported goods can be transported on the same drive and base belt using different screw locks. With detachable locking connections, wear and spare parts inventory holding costs can be reduced.

ATC inserts also enable direct screwing of parts such as high-precision metal workpiece carriers without the use of locks with welded, custom-made inserts. In addition, screw locks can transmit higher forces compared to permanently bonded locks. In addition, a smaller minimum pulley diameter can be selected for the same clamping force. Screw locks for ATC-SYSTEM are available on request.

With the ATC-System, an ATC-IN insert is inserted to screw the wedge into the prepared recess in the thread.
