ZS and ZSI
Mechanically assembled for fast on-site installation
The ZS/ZSi timing belt joint is designed to allow repeated separation and bonding of timing belts in the application itself.
AT10 and H profiles are offered in stainless steel, which is standard for these profiles. Therefore, they can be used in conjunction with suitable timing belts in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The tooth flanks of the T10 profile are made of brass and cannot be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The back plates are attached to the toothed side inserts using bolts screwed through the belt. The top surface of the belt is 1mm high on the ZSi so that the back plates are recessed into the timing belt and end flush with the height of the top surface of the belt.
Standard lock joint widths for AT10 and T10 profiles are 25, 32 and 50 mm and for H profile 25.4, 38.1 or 50.8 mm.
Intermediate widths and widths exceeding 50 mm are available on request.
